Shipping and Return Policies
Hire stands, cakes and cupcakes may NOT BE SHIPPED - these are available pick up only. Please refer to Cake and Cupcake Pickup Terms and Conditions for more information. If you are picking up a cupcake order, or are utilising our cake and cupcake delivery service and have purchased packaging or products in the same order, we are happy to arrange delivery / pickup of all purchased items at no additional charge.
Packaging & Products: We aim to send your goods the next business day. If for any reason there is a delay in your shipment, we will contact you directly. Please see table below for approximate delivery timeframes. Express deliveries can be arranged, please contact via email at email@example.com to request an express shipping quote.

All deliveries require a signature on receipt. We reserve the right to charge additional freight in cases where deliveries are returned to us, due to customer being unavailable to sign for or unable to arrange alternate collection. We recommend an authority to leave be noted in the comments section of the order process to avoid delays and charges in the unlikely event of a failed delivery.
We reserve the right to change delivery charges in the event of large orders of bulky or heavy items. We will avoid this wherever possible and will contact you prior to changing any shipping cost. We reserve the right to nominate the courier/service.
Orders over $50 are shipped at a discounted rate, as shown in the below table. Orders under $50 are shipped at the full rate (add $10 to rates shown below).

If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your product, or if it arrives damaged, not as described or is not as advertised, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 3 days of receipt and we will organise the goods to be collected, with a full refund issued.
International Shipping is available - please contact email@example.com with your desired product order for an international shipping quote.

Cake and Cupcake Pickup And Delivery
Firstly, please make sure you have checked availability on our BOOKINGS CALENDAR (hyperlink), to ensure your requested date is available. We tend to book out during busy times, such as Easter, Christmas & Wedding Season (Sept-Nov).
If you would like to place an order and your preferred date is showing no availability, please contact us via email and we will do what we can to assist.
Cupcake orders of less than 5 dozen must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance. Orders of more than 5 dozen must be ordered at least 72 hours in advance. Full size, novelty & wedding cakes must be ordered at least 2 weeks in advance. For orders which do not meet these criteria, please contact us and we will do our best to fit you in short notice.

As Cupcake Addiction is not a retail storefront, pickups and deliveries only occur on certain days, within set timeframes.

Please make sure you plan accordingly to adhere to these pickup times. If you are running late, or unable to make a pickup, please contact us on 0410 235 752. If you do not contact us prior to the expiration of the collection time, we reserve the right to alter the date/time of your order pickup.
Please make sure you print out a copy of your order confirmation to present upon collection. This will make sure the right order goes to the correct person!
*Weather Permitting: As the markets are an outdoor venue, there are times when Mother Nature deems the markets unable to proceed. Should the Surfers Paradise Markets be cancelled due to weather, we will contact you via phone to arrange alternate pickup arrangements.
*Surfers Paradise order collection EMBARGO during Schoolies Week (19.11.2011-26.11.2011), and during Gold Coast 600 (21.10.2011-23.10-2011). Pickups can be arranged from our Robina location during this time.
If you fail to collect your cake / cupcakes, all monies paid to Cupcake Addiction will be forfeited. Uncollected orders will be donated to worthy causes / persons as we see fit.

There is a minimum order quantity of 2 Dozen standard sized cupcakes or 4 Dozen mini cupcakes for ALL deliveries. maller orders must be collected in person. All full sized cakes, novelty cakes and wedding cakes are eligible for delivery - there is no minimum order quantity required.

Please select the appropriate zone when checking out. Cupcake Addiction reserves the right to alter delivery times however we will contact you directly should your time be altered. Unfortunately we cannot commit to an exact delivery time, delivery will fall within the timeframes outlined above.
Delivery outside these areas is quoted on an 'as requested' basis. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to request a quote for delivery.
You MUST provide a valid address for delivery, as well as a contact number for yourself, and for the recipient (if the order is not for you). If for any reason we are unable to deliver your order, you will either need to arrange pickup, or pay an additional delivery fee to have the order re-delivered.
If your cake/cupcakes are going to a venue, please advise a contact person and phone number at the venue who we can contact if required.
Under NO circumstances will orders be left on doorsteps, letterboxes, behind hedges or anywhere else. The recipient will be required to sign for their order, stating it has been received in good condition.

All uncollected orders, or orders cancelled within 14 days of the collection date will forfeit any monies paid. If your order is cancelled prior to 14 days, a refund will be issued, less a $50 administration and processing fee.
If you are picking up an order, or are utilising our delivery service and have purchased packaging or products in the same order, we are happy to arrange delivery / pickup of all purchased items at no additional charge.
Stand And Equipment Hire
All stands will incur a $100 security deposit, to be paid at the time of ordering. Stands must be returned to either our Surfers Paradise location, or our Robina location by the hirer, or a nominated person. Stand security deposits will be refunded via DIRECT DEPOSIT into the hirers nominated bank account within 3 business days of the stand being returned on time, and in good condition.
We do have some flexibility when it comes to returning your stand. If you are running late with the return, and provided it is not awaiting collection by another client, so long as you contact us to advise of any delays or issues, there is generally not a problem with returning the stand a day or two late.
General wear and tear marks are acceptable on the stand (eg. Minor scratches or blemishes). Stands that are returned broken, cracked, snapped, chipped, marked, warped or in any other condition which renders them unsightly or unusable, will incur a loss of security deposit. Stands that are not returned at all will also incur a loss of security deposit.
We are not a retail storefront, so please make sure you phone ahead on 0410 235 752 to arrange the time and location you would like to return your stand. This will ensure someone is here to greet you and receive the stand. If you are not returning the stand yourself, please make sure you have left direct deposit information, either in the comments section of your shopping cart, or via email to email@example.com so we can return your security deposit in a timely manner.
Lolly buffet jar hire will incur a $400 security deposit. Should any jars be returned broken, chipped, or with any other damage that renders them unsightly or unusable, a fee of $50 per jar (regardless of size) will be taken from your security deposit for each broken jar.
Lolly Buffet jar hire fee is for 2 each of the jars shown in the picture - 8 jars in total. 2 x jumbo, 2 x tall large, 2 x short with lid and 2 x short open. We also have available 2 extra tall hurricane jars should you require additional storage for your buffet. Please contact us if youd like to add the extra jars to your order.
